{New to the Shop} 4th Of July Pinwheels Collection

We are SO excited to announce a sneak peek at our new collection
Introducing our 4th of July Pinwheels Collection.

This theme has a special meaning to us - we helped with a going away party for a friend of ours, Mette. She and her family were moving back to Italy and Caryn planned a big huge party with 100+ people. We styled it as an "Americana" theme to celebrate their time in the USA.
We figured why not make our 4th of July Collection at the same time?
So we pre shot some of the setup with our 4th of July collection.

Lots MORE photos to be released in the weeks to come...
but for now, so you can get a taste of the collection....with these few photographs.

The collection includes some essential items like several fun circular favor hang tags,....
Loads of patterned papers, party flags, party logos, treat bag toppers (S'mores kits anyone?)
Drink wraps, sparkler inserts and more....
We are so excited about this collection!

- 2 Sheets of Square or Circle party Logos (8 logo designs)
- 1 Sheet of Drink wraps (5 designs)

{Featured Parties} A Whimsical Dr. Seuss Spectacular Birthday Party

We are so excited to share this party!

Dr. Seuss has a special place in my heart (and probably many of your hearts). I read one of Dr. Seuss' books almost every day to my children so I was SO thrilled to work on the graphics for this party.

Leslie, one of our sweet clients who is also obsessed with Dr Seuss, recently had a Seuss-tastic party for her son, Brenner.
Another fab client of ours, Jenny of Jenny Collier Photography, did the photography for the party and there is some serious cuteness going on here...
Leslie wrote up amazing details for us to share... so without further ado, here are the details in Leslie's words!

Dessert Table Details:

Brenner’s Cat in the Hat smash cake was displayed in the center of this table. The cupcake tower was a cardboard tower that I purchased from Hobby Lobby and embellished with coordinating ribbon on each tier.

Above the dessert table I displayed a framed Dr. Seuss “Happy Birthday to You!” puzzle, two bouquets of balloons and a printable happy birthday banner. I also displayed an (adult size) Cat in the Hat hat below the puzzle…

The desserts included “WhoFoo Fluff on a stick” (marshmallow pops that I made with vanilla candy melts, sanding sugar, marshmallows, lollipop sticks, candy wrappers and ribbon). I displayed these as bouquets in four different glass vases that I decorated with printables and raffia.

ABC’s of Seuss cookies were displayed along with “who cakes” with fondant cupcake toppers from Two Sugar Babies.

Food Table Details:
Above this table hung a framed Dr. Seuss Fox in Socks puzzle.
Three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwiches (ham, turkey, cheese). Yertles caramel turtles (pretzels, rolos, pecans). A crumb that was even too small for a mouse (empty plate).
Oodles of Noodles (pasta salad).

Pink ink yink drink (strawberry lemonade).
Beezlenut splash (inspired by Ihop’s Horton Hears a Who special edition menu. Sprite, ice and colored jello).
I also displayed mini water bottles with printable beverage wraps (also by Maureen).
An entry way table included the “Happy Birthday to You” book along with some bright colored pens and a cute sign asking guests to sign the book. I also framed one of the party invitations and displayed it on this table. (All signs were designed by Maureen.)
Another table included a sign with a cute poem inspired by Seuss’ “tooth book”. Along with the sign, I displayed two jars filled with tooth brushes that the guests could take home with them.
Another table included a sign asking the guests to guess how many candies were in a jar. Along with the sign, I displayed a mason jar full of “bird egg whoppers” and a “fish bowl” full of blue paper shred for the guests to put their guesses in. (I got this game idea off of a blog that I saw while searching for nursery ideas before Brenner was even born… I honestly couldn’t tell you the name of it… and haven’t been able to find it since.)

Outside the house on the front porch I hung a large piece of cardboard covered with the fabric used on dessert table and a printable door sign. This place was designated as a “photo booth” (Thanks again to Maureen for the idea!). I also placed a radio flyer wagon next to it filled with photo “props”: Cat in the Hat plush, gold fish plush… Thing 1 Thing 2 “boa”, Cat in the Hat hat for toddlers.”

Brenner’s high chair was decorated with printable balloon pennants (by Maureen).

(The Birthday Boy!)

The Favor Table included two round containers in colors that matched the theme. Inside one container was Seuss colored popcorn by Oh Goodies Designs. Inside the other container were party favors: small Seuss board books wrapped in printable patterned paper by Anders Ruff. After wrapping the books I tied on red & natural colored raffia and included multi colored swirl lollipops purchased on Amazon and favor hang tags from Anders Ruff. On either side of the containers were feather-adorned party hats, which was a fun DIY project! Above this table was a ribbon wreath (another DIY project).

Thank you for sharing the details, Leslie!! Amazing job!

Fabulous job, Leslie, on the party and Jenny, on the photography!

{Featured Parties} A Leopard Safari Party all of the way from Cypress!

Andri, a darling client of ours from Cypress, shared photos from her daughter's beautifully creative Leopard Safari party.

I LOVE to see parties from other countries. They each bring new inspiration and ideas to what we are used to seeing.

Andri would fill me in on details throughout the party planning process and I LOVED that her house was transformed for the weeks before the party - it reminded me of my own celebrations. My husband is always laughing at me and my planning and I can imagine her husband was the same way.

Check out the details below!
Andri literally transformed her house into a jungle.
I LOVE the vines with poms and hand cut leaves throughout.... SUCH a cute DIY project!

First off, I love the entrance with the signage, vines, and animal print balloons....

Now back to the dessert table and decor....
The focal table is gorgeous, too!
I love to see the different desserts that other countries serve at their parties...

Check out the animal print cake! Love that pop of color on the top!

The children's party table.... (See their masks hanging with clothespins in the background? So cute!)
She used our printable patterned papers to create placemats....

Favor bag display...

Precious zebra striped balloons and the zebra pinata!
Bright cups adorned with printable party logos (from our Leopard Princess collection!)
Drink wraps...
Thank you, Andri, for sharing your beautiful party!

Our Leopard Princess collection is available in the shop!
